Group 5 (4:40 – 5:45pm) Lead Coach: Jason Bowman

Group 5 is for our top 9-12 year olds. Swimmers in this group should already be proficient in all four strokes. They have already shown a desire to work hard, learn, and be competitive. Training will be intense and diverse with a focus on learning, improving, and laying a quality foundation for a competitive future in this sport. Some swimmers will be eligible for morning or weekend workouts as well as additional dryland training after practice (at the discretion of the Lead Coach).

Equipment Requirement: Swimmers in group 5 are expected to have a pair of swim fins. Additional clothing may be required for dryland.

Group 6 (5:45 – 7:15pm) Lead Coach: Stan Valacer

Group 6 is for any swimmer age 13 or older. This group will range from beginners to state level swimmers. All swimmers, regardless of age or skill are expected to be on time and ready to work hard.

Group 9 (5:45 – 7:45pm) Lead Coach: Stan Valacer

Group 9 is for swimmers age 13 or older. This group is geared toward those swimmers who are truly dedicated to the sport. It is for those swimmers willing to dedicate their time by meeting attendance requirements, giving 100% at all practices and meets, and serving as a good role model to our younger swimmers. Time requirements must be met to be placed into Group 9.

Equipment Requirement: Swimmers in group 9 are required to have a pair of swim fins. Additional clothing may be required for dryland.

The swimmers are grouped based upon ability and age by the Coaching staff. After the initial groupings, parents may submit a request for a group change in writing to the Head Coach by the end of the 6th week of the season. After this date, groups will be considered final and parents may not request changes.
